Copyright and Neighboring Rights Collective Management (CNCM) is an organization entrusted with the management of copyright and neighboring rights on behalf of creators such as authors, musicians, composers, performers, and more. In Ethiopia, a CNCM has been established to oversee the licensing, royalty collection, and enforcement of rights for copyright holders. The Ethiopian society obtained registration with the Ethiopian Intellectual Property Authority on June 18, 2017, and has been diligently working towards enhancing the economic and moral rights of the creative community.
